Can anyone sign up for an internship?

Currently, enrolled university/college students from anywhere in the world can submit their profile questionnaire for consideration. Our network of professionals reviews the submission, especially your CV and screening video, and provides feedback on how to improve them. Your profile will not be viewable to employers until your CV and video have been fully vetted by our network of industry professionals.

How do I get in touch with the internship company?

Once your profile is live, you just sit back and wait for employers to contact you through email with opportunities. Once our platform is up, the employer will be able to contact you through our chat function.

Can I contact the company first or do I need to wait for them to contact me?

Once our platform is up and running, you can signal your interest in a company by “liking” their profile page. Employers will regularly engage with their “fan base” and will ping you if your profile is relevant to their internship opportunity.

Does it cost money?

No. Students don’t pay anything.

How long does it take until I hear back from a company?

It depends. If your background is highly sought-after by our employer network, it won’t take very long before you’re getting requests to connect. Internship opportunities can also be seasonal in nature, so some time frames may be more active than others.

What if I want to change my internship field?

No problem!  Just update your profile to reflect your latest interests. Your profile evolves with you as you gain more experience and figure out what you like and don’t.

What if I don’t like the companies that contact me?

No problem, just let them know. But approach the process with an open mind and learn as much as you can about the company and its people before turning them down. Remember, a great internship experience is also about working with great people. Leave yourself open to new opportunities.

Can I upload a new profile picture, resume, video, etc?

Yes - we encourage you to keep your profile as up-to-date as possible.

Which countries are the companies from? The USA? Hong Kong? All over the world?

From all over the world… and you can work with them remotely.

Depends on your discussions with the employer and the legal framework of the country in which the employer is based. Jobkast doesn’t mediate between you and the employer.
